Vishnu Manchu is heading into Tamil film industry. Vishnu Manchu and Surabhi starrer new untitled Telugu, Tamil bilingual action entertainer is launched today. This Production No 5 of Rama Reels banner is produced by John Sudheer Pudota. 

Mohan Babu gave the clap-board, MM Keeravani switched on the camera and senior writer Vijayendra Prasad directed the first shot. The film will be shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages. 

“I am glad to have great people like Mohan Babu, MM Keeravani and Vijayendra Prasad blessing our Production No 5. This is a universal subject to be made in Telugu and Tamil languages. Vishnu Manchu and Surabhi are playing the lead artists. Story, screenplay and direction is by GS Karthik while sensational SS Thaman is composing the music. Regular shooting will be commenced from today,” producer John Sudheer Pudota said.

Padma Sree Mohan Babu completed 41 years in the Telugu Film Industry. Entered into films as Bhakthavatsalam Naidu on 22nd November 1975, he grew into a formidable force with dedication and attitude. With over 560 films to credit, the actor made a unique place for himself in history of Telugu cinema by acting in wide range of memorable characters. His contribution to film industry was recently commemorated at the 63rd Filmfare Awards with Lifetime Achievement Award and a honorary doctorate from University of California, Berkeley for his contribution to cinema and education.

Began the career as a Physical Education instructor at YAMCA college of physical education for many years, he joined Dasari Narayana Rao as a script writer after a long struggle in life. Swargam Narakam is the first breakthrough for Mohan Babu who is now a most respected name in South Indian film industry addressed with different titles like Dialogue King, Collection King, Nataprapoorna, and Natavachaspathi.

Influenced by the ideals of Legendary NTR, entry of Mohan Babu into politics is one more milestone in his life. Later served as MP in Rajya Sabha and was also a member of the Committee on Human Resource Development from 1996 to 1997 and also the member for committee on Urban and Rural Development and the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. His services for backward Rayalaseema region people during the drought times cannot be forgotten.

Today, Mohan Babu’s contribution to educational field with the establishment of Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust in 1993, providing free education for the poor is delivering efficient professionals to the Nation. 

Manchu Vishnu, Lakshmi Prasanna and Manoj; the three talented progenies from Manchu family are continuing a great legacy initiated by their father Mohan Babu.
