Launched on September 4 th , Zee Cinemalu emerged as the biggest launch of the decade garnering

highest GRPs during the launch week among various other channels in the competition. Also, Zee

Cinemalu is the only south Indian movie channel to telecast World Television Premieres.

With 4 World Television Premieres in the span of just 6 months, the channel is coming up with another

prestigious event- Zee Cinemalu Awards. Zee Cinemalu becomes the first South Indian Movie channel to

introduce Awards. Zee Cinemalu Awards 2017 is the first of its kind property which involves a 360-

degree integration of the television channel, the official Facebook page and the official website

www.zeecinemalu.com . There are 11 categories which are unique and different from the routine

awards and each of the category has 4-5 nominations. The winners are chosen by the audience by voting

for their favorite choices.

The audience can vote by visiting the official website. The voting process has begun on 16 th February

2017 and within a span of 7 days, the total number of votes crossed 1 million mark which is a record in

itself. The voting process will be open till 28 th February before which the fans and the movie lovers can

cast their vote for their favorite heroes, heroines, directors, movies and other interesting awards.
