In my opinion, there is no Lady Director or Gent Director, a director is a director, and that’s how it should be. We should stop treating Lady Director as a separate entity. I wish all the best to cast and crew of the film for a big success”.

Dynamic Director Jaya B, “I liked Nani from the beginning, he gives a very natural performance. I missed working with such natural performer in the past, but will surely plan something for him in the future. Many don’t know that I edited the movies Lovely and Vaishakam. It is very rare for a women director to write the film. Vaishakam will entertain all segment of audience”.

Producer BA Raju said, “Asta Chemma, Majnu and now Ninnu Kori, I am the PR for the movie. Nani has grown tremendously as a star and yet he is still the very straightforward and humble. He is selecting excellent scripts selectively and delivering success continuously by keeping the audience happy. There is a universal feeling among the producers regarding Nani as a minimum guarantee hero. Producers feel they are already in the safe zone with Nani as an actor in their films. He is increasing his range with each new film of his. Right now he is busy with the shooting of MCA. We are happy and thankful that Nani made time to release the trailer for us despite his busy schedule. Superstar Mahesh Babu released the audio which is Superhit. We are hopeful that trailer will get a similar response. We are planning to release Vaishakam in the first week of June”.

Kashi Vishwanath, “I am euphoric and lucky that this is the 100th movie of my career. The movie will be a big success. Audio of the film was released by Superstar Mahesh Babu, and it is a big success. Now the trailer is unveiled by Nani; it will also get a significant response”.

Harish playing the lead in the movie echoed similar sentiments and thanked producer BA Raju Garu and Jaya garu for giving such an excellent film. Cinematographer V Subbarao further stated that he was given superb encouragement and freedom while working which resulted in this wonderful output.

Sudhakar Reddy (Nizam): After watching GPS first copy, I’ve forecasted a record run for NBK. Today my words have come true. Financial result is on definite positive side and hopefully excess flows begin from Monday.
Suresh Babu (East): We are moving towards financial overflows. I told producer and my friend Rajiv Reddy to get ready from Monday.
LVR (West): Repeats have started in this region. Balakrishna’s fan frenzy and powerful content is pushing us into gains by today.
Bharat Kumar (Nellore): Never witnessed such huge crowds and exceptional response. Every scene and every dialogue is extolled. Tickets are sold like hotcakes and we are under pressure to increase the screens. Commercially, GPS is first film in Sankranti to have run into profits.
Srujan (Overseas – 9PM): Till date, collections are sustained without any fluctuations. Word of mouth talk and reviews have done a great deal of help. Expecting $2M in the long run and we might bracket into all time top 5 or 6. The film is all set to touch $1M in next couple of hours.
In Australia, UK, New Zealand, Malaysia and Singapore, buyers are already reaping profits from day 2. GPS is also released on public demand in Japan, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Singapore and few more areas which is unusual for a Telugu film to garner special adoration.
Producers Rajiv Reddy and Bibo Srinu are extending their warm wishes to audience and congratulations to buyers for encouraging their film thus surpassing breakeven records within just four to five days.

“తెలుగు జాతి గౌరవాన్ని పెంచిన చిత్రం” అంటూ యావత్ తెలుగు ప్రేక్షకులందరూ ఆదరిస్తున్న “గౌతమిపుత్ర శాతకర్ణి” చిత్రాన్ని నిన్న సెంట్రల్ మినిస్టర్ వెంకయ్యనాయుడు ప్రత్యేక ప్రదర్శన ద్వారా వీక్షించారు. చిత్ర కథానాయకుడు నందమూరి బాలకృష్ణ కూడా ఆయనతో కలిసి సినిమా చూశారు. సినిమా అనంతరం మీడియాతో తన మనసులోని మాటను పంచుకొన్నారు. 
“సినిమా అద్భుతంగా ఉంది. మాటలు మొదలుకొని పాటలు, స్క్రీన్ ప్లే అన్నీ ఒకదాన్ని మించి ఒకటి అన్నట్లుగా ఉన్నాయి. నవతరానికి తెలుగు జాతి చరిత్రను తెలియజెప్పేందుకు దర్శకుడు క్రిష్, కథానాయకుడు నందమూరి బాలకృష్ణ చేసిన ప్రయత్నాన్ని మెచ్చుకొని తీరాల్సిందే. కేవలం 79 రోజుల్లో ఇంతటి అద్భుతమైన చిత్రాన్ని పూర్తి చేయడం, ఈ రేంజ్ అవుట్ పుట్ తీసుకురావడం అనేది మామూలు విషయం కాదు. అన్నిటికంటే.. ఈ సినిమాలో వార్ సీన్స్ నాకు విపరీతంగా నచ్చేశాయి. సాధారణంగా నా బిజీ షెడ్యూల్ కారణంగా నేను సినిమాలు చాలా తక్కువగా చూస్తుంటాను. అయితే.. భారతీయ సినిమా చరిత్రలో ఈస్థాయి వార్ సీక్వెన్స్ లు నేను ఇదివరకూ చూడలేదు. ఇక శాతకర్ణి పాత్రకు బాలయ్య తప్ప వేరెవ్వరూ న్యాయం చేయలేరు” అని సినిమాపై ప్రశంసల వర్షం కురిపించారు వెంకయ్య నాయుడు. 
ఈ సందర్భంగా చిత్ర కథానాయకుడు నందమూరి బాలకృష్ణ మాట్లాడుతూ.. “తెలుగు ప్రేక్షకులు నాకు ఈ సంక్రాంతిని ఎప్పటికీ గుర్తుండిపోయేలా తీయని విజయాన్ని అందించారు. మా సినిమా చూడడమే కాక మాకు ఎంతగానో సపోర్ట్ చేసిన ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ముఖ్యమంత్రివర్యులు శ్రీ చంద్రబాబునాయుడు గారికి, తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర ముఖ్యమంత్రివర్యులు కె.చంద్రశేఖర్ రావు గారికి, వెంకయ్య నాటుడు గారికి నా ధన్యవాదాలు. తెలుగు వారికి మాత్రమే కాదు యావత్ భారతదేశానికే “గౌతమిపుత్ర శాతకర్ణి” ఓ కీర్తి కిరీటం” అన్నారు. 
చిత్ర దర్శకుడు క్రిష్ మాట్లాడుతూ.. “మా నమ్మకాన్ని నిలబెట్టిన తెలుగు సినిమా అభిమానులకు నా ధన్యవాదాలు. వారి అండ, తోడ్పాటు లేనీదే ఈ సినిమా ఈస్థాయి విజయం సాధించి ఉండేది కాదు” అన్నారు. 
రచయిత సాయిమాధవ్ బుర్రా మాట్లాడుతూ.. “నా కల నెరవేరిన రోజిది. బాలకృష్ణ గారి 100వ చిత్రానికి మాటలు రాసే అదృష్టం దక్కడం నా పూర్వ జన్మ సుకృతం. మా అమ్మ ఆశీర్వాద బలమే నేడు నాకు లభిస్తున్న కీరిప్రతిష్టాలకు కారణం” అన్నారు. 
నిర్మాత బిబో శ్రీనివాస్ మాట్లాడుతూ.. “సినిమాకి లభించిన అపూర్వ స్పందనతో సినిమా నిర్మాణం కోసం పడిన శ్రమ మర్చిపోయాం. చంద్రబాబునాయుడు, కె.సి.ఆర్ మరియు వెంకయ్య నాయుడు గార్లకు ఈ సందర్భంగా నా కృతజ్ణతలు” అన్నారు!

Honorable Central Minister Venkaiah Naidu and state minister Prathipati Pulla Rao along with film’s cast, crew watched Gautamiputra Satakarni at a special screening in Prasad Laboratory Preview theatre yesterday. Below is the response from them.
Venkaiah Naidu: The film is just superb. Central story, presentation, dialogues, lyrics, music, costumes, locations, grandeur and every department have given the best. There is a necessity for filmmakers to educate the present generation about our history and preserve our culture, heritage. Satakarni symbolizes our Telugu honor, Telugu esteem and Telugu pride. 
I am surprised with director Krish and his team’s dedication to have completed the film in 79 days. I congratulate him for making such historical project. War scenes in this movie are the best in Indian cinema. 
After NTR, it is only Balakrishna who can show the ease, comfort acting in these historical roles. 
Generally, I do not watch movies because of time and other constraints but I took time for GPS because it is about our own history. I enjoyed the movie thoroughly. Once again congratulations to Balayya Babu, Krish, producers Rajiv Reddy, Bibo Srinu, writer Burra Sai Madhav and other technicians. Sankranti wishes to each and every one. 
Prathipati Pulla Rao: Congrats to GPS team. You re-created historical subject and penned a history of your own in Telugu cinema books. You made Telugu people feel proud and also taught them about our Satavahana glory. This Sankranti will be special treat for all Balayya Babu Fans.   
Balakrishna: Telugu people made this Sankranti memorable for me by blessing Gautamiputra Satakarni. Our team efforts are paid off. Thanks to Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu garu, Telangana CM KCR garu and Minister Venkaiah Naidu garu for supporting our film. I also thank media friends for standing besides us in every step. GPS is a proud film not only for Telugu people but also for entire India.
Krish: This is a collective victory not just for our team but for every mother and all the women in our country. Venkaiah Naidu garu, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu garu and Telangana CM KCR garu have been the pillar supports in keeping our best efforts to make this distinguished subject. Thanks to all Telugu community across world for holding on our belief.
Sai Madhav Burra: Satakarni is no more a simple film for me. This experience is a like a dream coming true. In my remote dreams, I never thought of writing dialogues for Balakrishna garu’s 100th film. This Sankranti will remain as a special day for my remaining life. I took my mother’s blessings before beginning the writing part for GPS. 
Producer Bibo Srinu: We made this film with more respect and more responsibility because Satakarni is a reputed subject and distinctively Balakrishna garu’s 100th. All our efforts have come out positively with amazing response from audience. On this context I thank AP CM Chandrababu Naidu garu, Telangana CM KCR garu and Central Minister Venkaiah Naidu garu for being our motivational force.
