Roshan Kanakala, the son of popular character actor Rajeev Kanakala and star anchor Suma Kanakala, made a striking debut with ‘Bubblegum’. He is now set to work with director Sandeep Raaj, renowned for the National Award-winning film ‘Colour Photo’. The new project, titled ‘Mowgli’, will be produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner. The announcement was made on Ganesh Chaturthi, with the film described as a contemporary love story set against a forest backdrop. The first look poster features Roshan in a vest, showcasing his physique alongside a horse in a dense forest.
‘Mowgli’ is scheduled for a summer release next year and will feature a soundtrack by Kaala Bhairava, known for the Oscar-winning song ‘Naatu Naatu’. The film is expected to be made on a large scale with a talented team of technicians. The lead actress for the film has yet to be revealed.
