Man and Masses and pan-India star NTR is fresh from the success of his latest offering Devara : Part 1. After attaining popularity beyond Telugu states with RRR, NTR is looking to collaborate with filmmakers from other languages to expand his market further. He has already teamed up with hotshot Bollywood director Ayan Mukerji for an action spectacle ‘War 2’. Next in line is KGF director Prashanth Neel for another big-budget entertainer.
Meanwhile, there are reports that the Devara actor is all set to join forces with Tamil director Nelson Dilip Kumar who is credited with blockbuster hits like Jailer and Doctor. He worked with Thalapathy Vijay for Beast. Nelson is known for coming up with hard-hitting action dramas with a solid character for his lead protagonists.
Reliable sources revealed that NTR is mighty impressed with the script and the narration given by Nelson Dilip Kumar. Though NTR evinced interest to work with another top league Tamil filmmaker Vetrimaan who is known for his realistic dramas, Nelson Dilip Kumar has reportedly bagged a golden opportunity to direct NTR with a terrific script.
If everything goes as planned, Sithara Entertainments Banner will bankroll NTR – Nelson Dilip Kumar film with Anirudh Ravichander likely to come on board for rendering the soundtrack. This project is likely to go on floors next year as NTR is currently occupied with War 2, NTR 31 and Devara 2.
