Telangana Film Development Corporation (TFDC) Chairman and noted producer Dil Raju has pledged full support to the family of Revathi, who tragically lost her life in the stampede at Sandhya Theatre. On Tuesday, he visited KIMS Hospital to meet Sritej, Revathi’s son, who is undergoing treatment for severe injuries sustained during the incident.
Speaking to the media, Dil Raju expressed his condolences and addressed the aftermath of the tragedy. “This incident is deeply unfortunate. As soon as I returned from the United States, I met with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who appointed me as TFDC Chairman. I will soon meet Allu Arjun to discuss the incident and ensure a resolution. The affected family will receive all necessary support. We are ready to provide employment to Revathi’s husband, Bhaskar. Sritej is receiving the best medical care, and his condition is improving,” he stated.
Dil Raju emphasized his commitment to bridging the gap between the film industry and the government. “Claims that the government is neglecting the film industry are baseless propaganda. The Sandhya Theatre incident was an unfortunate accident, not a deliberate act. The Chief Minister has assured full support to the industry, and we will meet him soon to address any concerns. As TFDC Chairman, I take responsibility for ensuring such incidents do not recur,” he added.
Dil Raju, accompanied by DCC President Rohin Reddy, personally consoled Sritej during the hospital visit and reiterated his dedication to supporting the victim’s family during this difficult time.
