Actress Anandhi’s Next Titled ‘Shivangi’: First Look Revealed | CineChitram

Actress Anandhi made her debut in Telugu cinema with Bus Stop and later primarily appeared in many Tamil movies. She gained significant recognition with her performances and currently, she is active in both Telugu and Tamil with a handful of movies.

Now, this Telugu actress is all set to appear in and as Shivangi in her upcoming film. Directed by Devaraj Bharani Dharan, the film stars Anandhi and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the main leads.

On Wednesday, the filmmakers revealed the film’s title as Shivangi (Lioness) and unveiled the first-look poster. The first-look poster features Anandhi in a powerful avatar, dressed in a black shirt and grey dhoti, complemented with sunglasses and Vibudhi on her forehead, showcasing her commanding presence as she sits authoritatively on a sofa.

This action drama is scheduled to hit theaters on August 14, 2025. The film’s music is composed by AH Kaashif and Ebenzer Paul. The technical crew includes Bharani K Dharan as the cinematographer, and Samjith Mohammed handled the editing. Produced by Naresh Babu P under the banner of First Copy.

Apart from Shivangi, Anandhi is also part of the star-studded film Bhairavam, which is an official remake of Tamil movie Garudan. Bhairavam stars Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, Manchu Manoj, Nara Rohit, Aditi Shankar, Divya Pillai, Ajay, Sandeep Raj, Vennela Kishore, and many others. Additionally, she has several other Tamil projects lined up for release this year.
