Aditi Shankar, the talented daughter of legendary director Shankar, is making waves in Tollywood with her debut film Premistava. The film, a Telugu-dubbed version of the Tamil Pongal hit Nesippaya, officially released today across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
During Premistava’s promotions in Hyderabad, Aditi, who also holds a medical degree, shared an insightful anecdote about her father’s conditions for her entry into the acting world.
“I told my father that I would try acting once I completed my studies. He took time to think about it but eventually gave me his approval—with a condition. He told me that if I don’t succeed in the film industry, I must return to medicine,” Aditi revealed, highlighting the level of responsibility and support from her father.
Directed by Vishnuvardhan, who gave us Panjaa, comes Premistava, starring Akash Murali in the lead role with Aditi Shankar. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for this film. The movie is distributed by Mythri Movie Makers in Telugu.
