Ajith Kumar’s new action thriller, Vidaamuyarchi, will premiere on Netflix from March 1 after a disappointing theatrical run. Written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni.
Originally planned for a Pongal 2024 release, Vidaamuyarchi was delayed multiple times before finally hitting theaters in February. However, its theatrical journey was cut short, and now, with a window of less than four weeks, the movie is making a swift transition to the digital space. Netflix has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights, and the film will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Produced by Lyca Productions, Vidaamuyarchi features Trisha as the leading lady, sharing screen space with an ensemble cast that includes Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, Aarav, Nikhil Nair, Dasarathi, Ganesh, Vishnu Edavan, and Arivu. The film’s soundtrack has been composed by the renowned Anirudh Ravichander.
