Anirudh Ravichander holds the aces in music arena of Indian cinema at present because he is the go-to composer for big-ticket films in different languages. Besides ruling the roost in Kollywood, Anirudh commands stupendous craze in Telugu and Hindi languages as well. Having delivered pan-India blockbusters across languages with Jawan, Jailer, Vikram, Devara etc in the last few years, Anirudh made a big statement beyond South India. 

Anirudh made his debut in Tollywood with Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi way back in 2018. At that time, he was expected to make inroads into Telugu music scene and impact the chances of top league composers like Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman. However, he couldn’t achieve the desired start as Agnyaathavaasi tanked heavily at the box office. Even though his second outing ‘Jersey’ received much critical acclaim for his haunting score, he stayed from Tollywood for quite some time due to his busy commitments in Tamil. 

Now, Anirudh is set to rule the roost in Tollywood with numerous crazy offers up his sleeve. As per reports, Anirudh is going to render the soundtrack for several upcoming biggies in Telugu. He has already been roped in for Vijay Devarakonda’s upcoming spy thriller VD12. 

Now, the latest news is that Anirudh is on board for Natural Star Nani’s next film ‘The Paradise’ which will be helmed by Srikanth Odela. Besides this project, Anirudh is in talks to work for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s film with the same director under Nani’s production.

Apart from these projects, Anirudh is likely to collaborate for Balakrishna’s film with Gopichand Malineni and also reunite with Trivikram Srinivas after seven years for Allu Arjun’s ambitious pan-India film which will be launched very soon.  

Anirudh has got the reputation to elevate key episodes in the film with his scintillating background score. This is the biggest draw for him to be preferred by directors for notable films. As Telugu filmmakers are looking beyond DSP and Thaman, Anirudh might fill in the void and make a big impact in Tollywood in the next few years.
