The suspense surrounding the title of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 109th film has finally ended with the release of a new teaser today morning. As speculated in the media, Daaku Maharaj is locked as the title and the 96 second teaser hints that it will be another mass feast for Balakrishna’s fans during the festival season this Sankranti when the film hits the screens.
The teaser opens on an interesting note with a powerful dialogue to highlight the backstory of the lead protagonist and then finally gives a glimpse of Balakrishna’s fierce avatar as Daaku Maharaj. The visuals are extraordinary and the background score rendered by SS Thaman amps up the intensity of the teaser. Balakrishna’s appears in a mass get-up and the horse riding scenes are absolutely riveting.
Director KS Ravindra aka Bobby seems to have unleashed the massiest avatar of Balakrishna with full-on action feast. The teaser focuses on elevating Balakrishna with a intense dialogue – ‘ This story is not about gods who spread light, it is not a story of demons who rule darkness, it is not the story of Ravana who commands the demons, it is a story of a king without a kingdom’.
The electrifying dialogue then leads us to fleeting glimpses showcasing the mass rampage and havoc created by Daaku Maharaj against his opponents like a death slayer. The explosive teaser has several scintillating action blocks with horse riders.
Overall, the teaser of Daaku Maharaj packs a punch for its stunning visuals and Balakrishna’s trademark mass get-up. The production values by Sithara Entertainments are very impressive.
