Megastar Chiranjeevi and his wife Surekha were recently joined by his brother and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan to visit Kalyan’s son Mark Shankar, who was injured in a school fire accident in Singapore.
Chiranjeevi, Surekha, and Pawan Kalyan were spotted at the airport on Tuesday night in a rush for Singapore. Photos from the airport are now circulating widely on social media.
The tragic accident occurred on Tuesday morning, when Pawan Kalyan’s younger son, Mark Shankar Pawanovich, an 8-year-old, was injured in the unfortunate fire accident at his school in Singapore. Approximately 30 students were injured in the fire accident along with Mark, and sadly, a 10-year-old classmate of Mark’s lost her life.
Mark sustained injuries on his hands and legs and also suffered from smoke inhalation from the fire accident. According to the reports, his condition is currently stable, and he is undergoing bronchoscopy and receiving treatment at a local hospital.
At the time of the incident, Pawan Kalyan was on a district visit in Alluri Seetharamaraju and attending a meeting with tribal communities in Araku. Initially under the impression that the situation was not critical, he planned to complete his tour before visiting his son. However, upon learning of the severity of the incident, he left immediately, accompanied by his brother Chiranjeevi and sister-in-law Surekha, at 9:30 PM on April 8.
Fans and well-wishers have expressed concern, hoping for Mark’s speedy recovery. Pawan Kalyan has thanked everyone for their support during this difficult time.
