‘Dhop’ From Game Changer : Thaman Does An AR Rahman | CineChitram

Ram Charan’s upcoming film Game Changer is having a grand event in Dallas right now. Meanwhile, the team has unveiled the fourth song in the album, ‘Dhop’ just a while ago. Composer SS Thaman pulled off a rich orchestration that reminds of vintage AR Rahman beats in Shankar’s films.

Dhop is a flamboyant dance number which is a fusion of peppy lyrics and electronic beats. The lavish visuals coupled with Ram Charan’s impressive dance moves makes it an instant chartbuster. Thaman’s songs are popular for thumping and rakish beats with mass lyrics. But, Dhop is a complete departure from his usual style as it commands terrific orchestration due to the high-octane rendition and stylish lines.

The visuals are absolutely riveting and the chemistry between the lead pair is a treat to watch. Lyricist Ramjogayya Sastry comes up with plenty of english lyrics but they seamlessly blend with the tune. Dhop is not a regular foot tapping number but will grow on music lovers after repeats. All those who lent vocals for this song did a fabulous job.

After creating a mass euphoria with Jaragandi song, following it up with the youthful ‘Ra Macha Macha’ number and then with a mellifluous melody Nanna Hyraanaa, Dhop will stand out as a unique song in the album.

Directed by Shankar Shanmugam, Game Changer features Ram Charan in dual roles and Kiara Advani as the female lead. SJ Suryah is playing a significant role in the film. It is slated for release on January 10th.
