Dil Raju Comments on Meeting with Telangana CM Revanth Reddy and Film Industry’s Future | CineChitram

Hyderabad: Following his meeting with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, renowned producer and FDC Chairman Dil Raju addressed the media, emphasizing that the primary focus of the Telugu film industry is its growth and development. He clarified that issues like benefit shows and ticket pricing are secondary concerns, stressing that the industry’s priority is its advancement.

Dil Raju also refuted claims of growing distance between the Telugu film industry and the Telangana government, calling it a misconception. He assured that the Telugu film industry continues to receive respect from all sections of society.

He revealed that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed a vision for Hyderabad to become a hub for all language film shoots, with infrastructure on par with international standards, especially Hollywood. Dil Raju highlighted the Chief Minister’s support for the industry’s growth and the need for a positive outlook within the sector.

On the issue of drug control, Dil Raju confirmed full cooperation from Tollywood with the Telangana government. He also mentioned that discussions regarding security measures for the industry had been held with the state’s Director General of Police (DGP). Dil Raju concluded by stating that another meeting with the Chief Minister is scheduled for the near future.
