Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is now all set to enthrall audiences once more with the highly anticipated sequel of his blockbuster film Lucifer, named Empuraan. The original was directed by actor-filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran, and the fans are going frantic with excitement as the sequel starts rolling.
The makers unveiled the first glimpse of Empuraan at a grand event in Kochi. The teaser will release in multiple languages simultaneously across India. The preview is teasing a thrilling continuation of the Lucifer storyline and hints at the plot being packed with higher stakes and thrilling twists.
With Mohanlal’s impactful dialogue in the teaser where he refers to the name “Lucifer” which exists in Christianity, this sure promises an epic cinematic journey. An exaggeration by Sujieth Vasudev’s excellence in cinematography and Deepak Dev’s background score elevates the importance of the teaser. Further, much speculation regarding Tovino Thomas’s role will be rummaged through; it smartly keeps it under wraps while building anticipation with the trailer.
A Lyca Productions and Aashirvad Cinemas jointly produced movie, Empuraan will release in various Indian languages on March 27, 2025. Promising its scintillating visuals, it has an impressive plotline which would present the most memorable experience on celluloid.
