Bollywood diva Hrithik Roshan and Telugu cinema superstar Jr NTR are all set to share the super screen in War 2, an eagerly anticipated sequel in Aditya Chopra’s YRF Spy Universe. Fans have been waiting for their duo to set the stage on fire with an electrifying dance number, but a recent leg injury for Hrithik has meant that this will have to wait.

During rehearsals, Hrithik reportedly pushed himself beyond his limits, resulting in a strain that requires four weeks of complete rest, as advised by doctors. Due to this, the much-awaited song shoot has now been rescheduled.

Initially, the team had planned to film the song before wrapping up the remaining talkie portions. However, with Hrithik’s recovery being the priority, production schedules are being adjusted accordingly. Despite this minor setback, the makers remain firm on their August 14, 2025 release date.
