Renowned Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, who captivated audiences with her stellar performances and gained popularity in Telugu cinema through Rajamouli’s RRR, is now set to grace the 78th Cannes Film Festival, scheduled to be held from May 13 to May 24, 2025.  

Despite her recent film Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala, failing to meet expectations despite extensive promotions, Alia remains undeterred. Currently busy with her upcoming project Alpha, the actress is excited about stepping onto the prestigious Cannes red carpet for the first time.  

In a recent media interaction, Alia expressed her anticipation, stating, “Cannes is one of the most prestigious events in the film industry. Though I feel a bit nervous, I’m thrilled to make my debut on such a grand platform.”  

With Indian stars like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Sonam Kapoor being regular attendees at Cannes, Alia’s debut is expected to further strengthen India’s presence on the global stage.  

Even amidst her birthday celebrations, Alia is focused on making a lasting impression at the international event.
