Veteran actor Jagapathi Babu has been confirmed for a pivotal role in Ram Charan’s highly anticipated film ‘RC 16’. Directed by Uppena fame Buchi Babu Sana, the film stars Ram Charan and Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor as the main leads.

Adding to the excitement, director Buchi Babu Sana recently shared another thrilling update that the film’s shoot has officially commenced. He posted a picture of him holding the script of RC 16 in front of the Chamundeshwari temple in Mysore. With the divine blessings of Chamundeshwari Matha, the film team began their shooting schedule today in Mysore with the main leads.
It is reported that the film is a sports drama showcasing global star Ram Charan in the role of an athlete. The actor recently underwent training for a muscular body under the trainer Shivoham Bhatt. Ram Charan revealed that the film will also be a high comedy.
The film marks the second project for Janhvi in Telugu, with further details about the other cast and crew expected to be revealed soon. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas, the film is presented by the prestigious banner Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar via his Sukumar Writings. AR Rahman is set to compose the music for this film.
