Jr. NTR is indisputably one of the most discussed stars in the movie world today, with fans waiting anxiously for news regarding his next projects. He is currently occupied with War 2, his Bollywood debut, alongside Hrithik Roshan, and Dragon with director Prashanth Neel. But fans are already curious about what’s next for NTR after these thrilling projects.
The actor has already signed up for a film with acclaimed Tamil director Nelson Dilipkumar, who is famous for his success with Jailer. Nelson will start working on this film once he finishes his ongoing schedule. There can be some delays in the timeline for this collaboration, and fans are left guessing when they will get to witness the highly awaited pairing of NTR and Nelson on screen.
There was a time when there were rumors that the sequel to Devara, titled Devara 2, would not come about because the first film did not receive such warm responses. Although Devara was successful at the box office, it did not create the same kind of buzz for a sequel.
But the fans need not worry anymore, since Jr. NTR has reaffirmed that Devara 2 is indeed underway. In his recent news update, NTR indicated that he would begin the sequel as soon as he wrapped up Dragon. And besides Jr. NTR and Kalyan Ram, the producer of Devara too indicated to the fans that part 2 will become a reality. Director Koratala Siva is already single-minded about working on Devara 2 and has placed all other work aside to keep this one high priority.
Though the NTR-Nelson movie might be a while coming, possibly not making it to the screens until 2027, Devara 2 is going to kick off next year. With that much clarity now, fans have plenty to be excited about over the next few months, as NTR’s action-packed journey continues to roll out.
