Tollywood actor Manchu Vishnu is spearheading his ambitious project Kannappa with grandeur, describing it as his dream venture. The actor, along with the film’s team, held a press meet in Bengaluru today to discuss the project’s progress. The event was attended by Vishnu, director Mukesh Kumar Singh, and noted actors Sarath Kumar and Prabhu Deva.

Addressing the media, Manchu Vishnu expressed his pride in collaborating with industry stalwarts. “It’s an honor to share the stage with legends like Sarath Uncle, Prabhu Anna, and director Mukesh Kumar Singh. Their presence elevates the project,” he said.

Vishnu highlighted the uniqueness of the upcoming film, differentiating it from the 1976 classic Bhakta Kannappa, which starred Krishnam Raju. “This is not a remake of the earlier film. Our Kannappa is a fresh take on the story, tailored to resonate with today’s generation. The tale of Kannappa deserves to be retold, and this version will bring his journey to a contemporary audience,” he stated.

Featuring an ensemble cast that includes Manchu Vishnu, Mohan Babu, Sarath Kumar, Akshay Kumar, and Mohanlal, Kannappa is set to hit theaters on April 25, promising a grand cinematic experience.
