On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s family released a special video featuring the women of the household. Titled Mega Women, the exclusive interview includes Chiranjeevi, Nagababu, their mother Anjana Devi, and their sisters Madhavi and Vijaya, offering rare insights into their family life.
Chiranjeevi Shares a Childhood Anecdote
During the conversation, Chiranjeevi recounted an incident from his childhood, recalling how he once wandered onto the street as a toddler. “I must have been around three years old when I crawled out of the house and ended up on the road. A blacksmith working nearby noticed me and took me in, informing my family. By then, I was covered in soot, making it difficult to recognize me. When my mother arrived, she initially assumed I was someone else’s child and almost walked away. But she paused, took a closer look, and realized I was her son,” he shared. He humorously added, “To prevent me from wandering off again, she tied a rope around my leg—just like what was done to Lord Krishna.”
Chiranjeevi Remembers His Late Sister
In a poignant moment, Chiranjeevi revealed a lesser-known fact about his family, sharing that three of his siblings had passed away in childhood. He recalled the loss of his sister, Rama, when he was in sixth grade. “She was unwell, and despite taking her to the hospital, she did not survive. I still remember carrying her home in my arms, and with the help of neighbors, we completed the final rites. At that time, my father was away due to work, and we had to handle everything ourselves. When he returned, he was deeply heartbroken,” he said.
Anjana Devi’s Advice on Family Values
Marking International Women’s Day, the Mega family’s matriarch, Anjana Devi, emphasized the importance of family unity. She advised the younger generation to stay connected and support each other. “Parents, siblings, and extended family members should always be there for one another. Unfortunately, love and closeness among people seem to be fading these days,” she remarked. Speaking about her family, she expressed happiness over her bond with her daughters-in-law and stated that Chiranjeevi’s wife, Surekha, is like a daughter to her.
Nagababu on Pawan Kalyan’s Special Bond with Their Mother
Mega Brother Nagababu also shared an interesting family insight, revealing that their mother always had a special fondness for Pawan Kalyan. “As a child, Pawan was weak and often unwell. Because of this, our mother always paid him extra attention, making sure he was well taken care of. She would cook his favorite dishes and be especially protective of him. In our house, Pawan was always the special kid,” Nagababu said.
The Mega Women interview, featuring heartfelt conversations and rare family moments, has resonated strongly with fans, offering a glimpse into the personal lives of the Mega family.
