Following a string of failures, Naga Chaitanya has come storming back to the top with Thandel. Starring Sai Pallavi and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the movie has become a huge box-office hit. This is Chaitanya’s largest hit to date, solidifying his star status.
Ever since the success of Thandel, Chaitanya is not sitting idle and is all ready to start working on his next venture, which goes by the temporary name NC24. The director for the same is Karthik Dandu, whose Virupaksha was a supernatural thriller. Pre-production has apparently reached advanced stages, with shoot expected to kick off within this month’s end.
Venturing into a new genre, Chaitanya will be observed in a mystic horror thriller, a new cinematic experience for his audience. Director Karthik Dandu is creating a whole new world for the film, and art director Nagendra is creating elaborate sets to add to its haunting ambiance.
The movie has Meenakshi Chaudhary playing the female lead and is produced by Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra in association with Sukumar Writings. Ajaneesh Loknath, who has become famous for his hauntingly gorgeous scores in Kantara and Virupaksha, will be scoring the music.
With a best-of-breed technical team on board, the movie guarantees top-of-the-line CGI and awe-inspiring visuals, providing a realistic experience to film viewers. Rumor within the industry is that the creators are mulling the title “Vrushakarma” for the movie.
