NTR’s Devara set For Netflix Release | CineChitram

RRR fame pan-India superstar NTR stormed the worldwide box office with his recent release Devara : Part 1. The film which hit the screens on September 27th broke numerous box office records in various territories and emerged as one of the biggest hits this year with a stupendous run in the first three weeks. The Koratala Siva directional punched out more than 400 Crores despite mixed reviews, thanks to NTR’s terrific performance and superlative music by Anirudh Ravichander. 

As the theatrical release completed 6 weeks, the action thriller is all set to make its digital debut on November 8th. The streaming rights were sold for Netflix for a whopping amount prior to its theatrical release. So, Netflix will start screening Devara from this Friday. The strong theatrical reception means that Devara will garner massive viewership on the digital platform as well. The makers are hoping that the digital release will resonate with the moviegoers. 

As NTR is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film like War 2, the filming of Devara : Part 2 is likely to be delayed further. Koratala Siva on the other side is looking to rectify the shortcomings in the first part and make the script watertight to match the high expectations on the sequel. Devara stars NTR in dual roles. Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Jahnvi Kapoor played significant characters. Srikanth and Prakash Raj appeared in prominent roles.
