Renowned screenwriter Paruchuri Gopalakrishna recently shared his thoughts on Daaku Maharaaj, starring Balakrishna. While the film’s storyline may not be entirely new, he praised director Bobby for engaging the audience with his unique narration and impactful dialogues.

“To present Balakrishna in a distinct way, the makers gave him the Kondaveeti Donga look. When educated individuals feel powerless in delivering justice, some take on new identities. In this film, Balakrishna assumes the persona of Daaku Maharaaj. His character’s journey and actions form the crux of the story.

Scenes like Balakrishna emerging from fire and delivering dialogues like ‘Lord of Death… not a God who gives life, but one who takes the lives of the guilty’ convey the essence of the film. These elements are inspired by Lord Krishna, who is revered as divine yet was responsible for several eliminations in history. If he wished, he could have stopped the Kurukshetra war.

The imagery of Balakrishna emerging from flames signifies his purification by fire. The film features remarkable dialogues that elevate Balakrishna’s role. While Bobby hasn’t created a completely new concept, he has skillfully carried the story from start to finish.
