Prasanth Varma’s Blockbuster ‘HanuMan’ To Premiere In Japan on October 4 | CineChitram

Prasanth Varma’s mythological epic film ‘HanuMan’ featuring Teja Sajja in the lead role garnered significant buzz and achieved pan-Indian success, grossing over 350 crores at the box office. Following the success, the film is now set to premiere in Japan.

Director Prasanth Varma took to his Instagram to officially announce the release of his film HanuMan in Japan. He shared a new poster of the movie in Japanese, accompanied by the caption, “#HanuMan is releasing in Japan on 4th October, 2024!”

Speaking more about ‘HanuMan’, the film was released in theaters on January 12, 2024, and emerged as a unique addition to the cinematic universe, blending mythological storytelling with superhero elements. Backed by Niranjan Reddy under the banners of PrimeShow Entertainments, the film also has a talented cast of Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vinay Rai, Vennela Kishore, Getup Srinu, and others in significant roles.

With the recent news having built great excitement among Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe fans (PVCU), HanuMan’s global release is likely to boost the anticipation for the upcoming sequel, ‘Jai HanuMan’.   

The film’s director, producer, and the lead actor Teja Sajja from the prequel will return for this next installment, ‘Jai HanuMan’, though further details about the cast and crew have not yet been revealed. This highly anticipated sequel is scheduled to release in 2026.

Meanwhile, Prasanth Varma is working on an untitled project, marking the debut of Nandamuri Mokshagna Teja, the son of Natasimham Nandamuri Bala Krishna.
