Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming rustic and patriotic drama Thandel, which is based on real life incidents in the life of a fisherman who inadvertently transgressed India border and was caught by Pakistan maritime security long back, has been making a lot of waves due to the positive buzz right from the day of announcement.
Ahead of the film’s grand release this February 7th, the makers are going all out to amplify the hype further. They have roped in Bollywood star Amir Khan to launch the Hindu trailer earlier today. Already, the team has been touring different cities in other states to promote the film aggressively.
Meanwhile, the latest update revealed that pan-India superstar and Pushpa actor Allu Arjun, who created a solid impact with his performance as Pushpa Raj, will be attending the grand pre-release event as the chief guest on February 1st in Hyderabad.
Allu Arjun’s father Allu Arvind is the producer for this film. So, he will agreed to attend the event. This will be the first event for Bunny since the controversial issue of stampede and arrest during the release of Pushpa last year.
All eyes will be on this event because Allu Arjun is making the first public appearance after he held a press meet following his arrest and Telangana CM Revanth Reddy’s speech in assembly. Though he attended police enquiry and visited the hospital to console the kid who was hospitalized due to stampede, Allu Arjun didn’t interact with the media. So, it would be interesting to see what he speaks on stage during the pre-release event of Thandel.
Thandel is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and has Sai Pallavi as the female lead. Naga Chaitanya will be portraying the role of Thandel Raju in this film.
