Talented comedian Sapthagiri is ready to tickle the audience’s funny bone with his upcoming film Pelli Kaani Prasad. Helmed by Abhilash Reddy Gopidi, the film is produced by K.Y. Babu of Vision Group, in association with Bhanu Prakash Goud, Sukka Venkateshwar Goud, and Vybhav Reddy Mutyala under the Thama Media Entertainments banner.
The recently unveiled trailer promises a fun-filled ride with an engaging storyline. Sapthagiri plays Prasad, a man from the Katnam family, where dowry is an age-old tradition. His dad, played by Muralidhar Goud, asks for a staggering ₹2 crore dowry, rendering it almost impossible for Prasad to get himself a decent bride. All hope is lost until he meets a middle-class girl who has fantasized about settling overseas, and the ride for a drama of ups and downs coupled with a thriller unfolds.
Packed with humor, family emotions, and engaging drama, Pelli Kaani Prasad stars Priyanka Sharma as the female lead. Adding to the film’s charm is Shekar Chandra’s lively music.
Scheduled for a grand theatrical release on March 21, the movie is backed by Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC) for distribution. Get ready for a laughter riot on the big screen!
