Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde’s starrer action drama ‘Deva’ has finally arrived on the OTT platform. Directed by Malayalam director Rosshan Andrews, this film is an adaptation of Prithviraj Sukumaran’s ‘Mumbai Police,’ starring Shahid Kapoor in a cop role.
Initially released in theaters on January 31 this year, the film received mixed reviews and struggled at the box office. Shahid and Pooja got appreciation for their performances but couldn’t help to score a blockbuster.
With nearly two months after its theatrical release, Deva has finally made its entry into the OTT today. The renowned streaming platform Netflix has announced this exciting update, revealing that the film will now be available for streaming from today, March 28.
Announcing its arrival, Netflix India shared Deva’s poster on their Instagram handle with the caption of the lyrics of the song from the film’s music album, “Bhasad macha.. Trigger chala.. Deva aa raha hai.”
Produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Shariq Patel, and Umesh Bansal under the banner of Roy Kapur Films, the movie also features Pavail Gulati, Pravessh Rana, Kubbra Sait, and Upendra Limaye in key roles. The music is composed by Jakes Bejoy and Vishal Mishra. Let’s see how the film will be received by OTT audiences.
