This long-awaited Bollywood epic Ramayana, scheduled to be helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, is currently under production and could easily become a film experience of the most extraordinary kind. The two-part project, with its cast of Ranbir Kapoor playing the role of Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi essaying that of Goddess Sita, will bring these legendary figures to the big screen in a manner never imagined before.

One of the latest and most exciting updates around the film is the casting of Padma Bhushan awardee Shobana as Kaikesi, the mother of Raavana.
