Siruthai Siva Set to Direct More High-Budget Films | CineChitram

Director Siruthai Siva’s Kanguva is to hit the screens tomorrow. A mass-market film maker, for him, this would be the biggest project he has ever ventured into, and successful gains here might just turn his fortune around.

Siva is upbeat about the new film and has bold plans for more costly ventures in his future. He once said in an interview, “I have five or six scripts in the same genre as Kanguva, which have novel and unusual ideas. Ranging from genres to exciting storylines, these will be different from each other. I will hopefully bring these out soon”.

If Kanguva succeeds well with multi-linguistic films, then Siva would have every opportunity to work with the superstars from different industries. Producer K.E. Gnanavel Raja is hopeful that this one could turn out to be a profit-earning proposition at the box office too. And if that happens, Siruthai Siva might just turn out to be the most sought-after director in the industry. Time will only tell if that eventuates.
