Sri Divya who has the interest in ghosts wants to conduct research for her thesis joins as an assistant to Kashmora. Kashmora solves the problem of an inspector and soon he falls in the eyes of a minister who is facing the problem in a murder case and asks for the help of Kashmora. The minister’s problem also will be solved. Now a man Chidambaram comes for help in fear of ghosts where there is an old palace far away from the city. After coming to that palace, Kashmora comes to know that he has to face the real ghosts this time. There he finds the thalapatra grandma and starts reading the story. Now enters the Character Rajnaik(Karthi)who is senapathi of a kingdom. He is a great warrior and defeats the enemies with the single hand. He fears for none and has a huge crush on the Princess Ratna Devi(Nayantara). He wants to marry the princess, but she rejects him because of his cruel nature. So what is the connection between Kashmora , Rajnaik and Ratna Devi? Why he was chosen. What happened in the flashback. If you want answers for all of these questions, just hit the screen.

Performances:-
Karthi: The heart and soul of the movie are Karthi. He acts in a dual role as Kashmora and Raj Naik. His comedy timing is excellent. Raj Naik character is the highlight of the film. He once again proved that whatever might be the character he is going to play it cool.
Nayantara: really – She also pe ell. Though she has a small role, she did her plot excellently.
Sridivya: She doesn’t have much to act. But she did justice to her role.
Vivek: He plays the father character, and he is superb with
his timing. He plays the role of a Swamiji.

Technical aspects:-

Music: – Santosh Narayanan gave good background score, but he failed to give good songs. The music is average.
Director: – Gokul has written a script which will satisfy the general audience who looks for entertainment. His direction is good. The way he wrote the comic scenes and the Raj Naik character elevates his skills as an excellent director. The screenplay is OK. The narration of the story is the little bit lengthy.
Dop: – Om Prakash photograph is good. He has done an excellent job in the war scenes.

What’s good: –

K Art is the biggest asset of the movie. The comedy scenes are played well. Vivek comedy is also excellent. Nayantara is good and looks as usually beautiful. Sri Divya is OK. Here some credit goes to the director as he maintained the story excellently. His screenplay is also good. Background score is OK.

What’s bad: –

Music isn’t helpful for the movie the songs are not good. The length of the film is more. It should have been trimmed. The first half of the movie didn’t have a story but saved with Karthi’s performance and comic scenes. The second half narration is slow. Visual effects are destitute. The production values are not up to the mark.

The movie should have the fast screenplay. Though it is a good entertainer if the story and the flashback had written well, the result could have been still better. Some of the scenes should have been trimmed in the second half because and the first half could have been a bit faster. The visual effects of the film could have been better if they concentrated more on that part. They should have waited for the proper output of CGI.

Final verdict: –

Karthi will entertain you as Kashmora and Raj Naik you will not be disappointed. The first half is entirely based on entertainment. The main story is revealed in the second half. So finally who likes the entertainers nowadays will enjoy this movie. Hope this Diwali brings collections for Kashmora. You can watch with your family this weekend.
