Govinda Reveals He Declined A Role In James Cameron’s Avatar | CineChitram

Bollywood actor Govinda recently revealed that he was offered a role in James Cameron’s Avatar but declined the opportunity. In a recent interview, the actor shared details about his interaction with the acclaimed Hollywood director and the reasons behind his decision.  

Govinda stated that he was introduced to James Cameron through a businessman in the United States after sharing a successful business idea. During their meeting, Cameron offered him a key role in Avatar, specifically the character of ‘Spider,’ along with a remuneration of ₹18 crore. However, the extensive shooting schedule of 410 days and the requirement of full-body paint led him to turn down the role.  

Expressing his thoughts on the final casting, Govinda mentioned that he was highly impressed by the actor who ultimately portrayed the character.
